welcome your body to the day

How's has the practice of welcoming your body to the day been going for you? I hope you've been practicing! :-)

The benefits of this practice are many

You'll feel there is less of a gap between your Self and your body. You'll feel less separate from it. This will help create more Self-Centeredness for you!

You'll be more aware of your body throughout the day. You'll be able to perceive more of the subtle, and not so subtle, hints your body is giving to you in the way of sensations that are trying to get your attention. You'll become more aware of sensation that you've previously missed! For instance, when your body needs rest, or movement, or food, or water you'll notice faster, by attending to your bodily needs quicker you will feel better!

You'll have a friendlier relationship with your body. Imagine how you'll view exercise, food & drink choices differently, when you are considering your 'friend' as you choose!

You'll also start your day with a calm nervous systemby becoming centered within yourself before focusing your attention on anything else!

visualize day

Here is a little more info about Visualizing Your Day...

This practice is all about setting intentions! Just the same as when you intend to go to a certain location...

if you put the wrong address into your GPS, how will you ever reach the desired destination?

This is also the same as planting a garden... if you don't first decide which seeds you are intending to plant, what will dictate how to prepare the soil and water accordingly for your plants to ensure you will grow the beautiful, bountiful garden you desire?

Visualizing Your Day sets your internal GPS + claims which seeds you'd prefer to plant that day!

And this practice is so simple + only takes a few minutes!

1. Set a clear intention for the day, "today I will experience peace. (fun, excitement, ease, simplicity, joy, relaxation, etc)".

2. Take a moment to mentally walk through all of your to-do's, meetings with others, and events you are expecting during the day ahead.

3. Visualize each to-do item happening effortlessly.

Visualize each interaction as you'd prefer it to be. Visualize each event going smoothly.

4. PLUS for an added bonus + a little fun, ask yourself: “What miracle is possible for me today?”

This practice creates Self-Centeredness within yourself, as you'll be very aware how you'll act + behave during the day in order to meet your own expectations!

After all, when you intend for things to go a certain way + you have an intended path toward them ... you'll be much more likely to have those experiences!

But, words cannot do this practice justice. You'll just have to experience it for yourself!
