It has been a week since we've connected my friend! Hope you've made it a great one! After all, You have the power to make your week however you desire it to be!

so that you can walk thru your days 'being' connected to the peace, joy and love You are, even when "bad things" happen!

breathing

Last week we talked about the 5 Layer Breath from the Morning Liberator. How's that breathing been going for you? I hope you've been practicing! :-)

You know the first thing we do when we get startled? We gasp + hold our breath! And when we return to breathing it is rapid and shallow. Not at all conducive for creating relaxation in the mind and body.

Want to relax more often?

The 5 Layer Breath actually invites the mind + body to soften into relaxation!

When you are relaxed, you are able to be present. When you are present, you are able to enjoy what is happening in the moment. When you enjoy more moments, you are happier!

welcome your body to the day

Here is a little more info about Welcoming Your Body to the Day from the Morning Liberator...

Many of us see our body as just an object. We are stuck with it. We take it for granted. We can always find something we don't like about it. We talk harshly about it, ie. "stupid knee". We compare it to others'. We push it to exhaustion. And after all of that, we expect it to do everything we want it to do!

Does that sound like you? Feeling a little tension in your body right now.

If so, shake that off + take a breath ... hhaaaaa.

Ok, now back to Welcoming Your Body to the Day!

When you take a few precious moments right after you awaken to welcome each body part to the day, you are actually overriding all of that previous negativity! You are inviting your body to relax into + get energized for the day ahead!

Wait! What?!? ... Relax + get energized at the same time??? Yes!!!

But, words cannot do this practice justice. You have to experience it for yourself!

If you'd like to know how much better you can feel physically by adding one little practice to your morning, give it a try!
