visualize your day
How has the practice of visualizing your day been going for you? :-)
I hope you have noticed that visualizing your day is like performing a 'dress rehearsal' of all of the 'acts' you'll be performing that day.
We all know that everything is easier with practice, e.g. driving a car, playing the piano, public speaking.
By visualizing your day, mentally walking through it, and actually putting yourself in all of the situations/ events/ interactions you are expecting that day, you are giving yourself a chance to practice -
*how you desire to present yourself
*what you desire to feel, and
*how you desire to respond
Actually ask yourself the questions ...
"How do I desire to present myself?"
"What do I desire to feel?"
"How do I desire to respond?"
Visualizing your day allows you to 'set the stage' + set your intentions, so you'll be more prepared in the moment of the situations/ events/ interactions to respond versus react!
Wouldn't you rather respond than react?
I know I would!

celebrate your energy + the energy of the day!
This practice is a fun way to get yourself moving, create a flow of energy through your body, become more flexible, build strength + connect to the energy flowing through the Universe!
Doesn't just reading that intro to this practice create a feeling of spaciousness and openness for you :-)
I am referring to the standard Sun Salutation A yoga practice. If you are not familiar, there are many, many free videos online.
This practice is so beneficial!
It is a series of postures that flow one into the other, cultivating flow in both mind and body.
It stretches the body and feels so good to the body, cultivating a more open and good feeling in mind.
It strengthens the body with focus movement, cultivating a stronger, more focused mind.
It connects the mind and body to another living being, the Sun, cultivating a feeling of shared energy and belonging to the All.
And ... it can easily be modified to suit your mobility level, with all the same benefits!
~ you can simply raise your arms overhead in a prayer position, then draw the Sun’s energy down to your heart center.
~ alternatively, you can simply visualize the movements and feel their energy within.
Perform three rounds of Sun Salutation A. With each repetition, focus on deepening your movements, deepening your breath, deepening the connection with your center to create Self-Centeredness + deepen your relationship with the shared energy of the All. This practice is just plain Yummy!!!
But, don't take my word for it. Experience it for yourself!
