                  Happy Friday my friend!

A big Thank You for the responses to my 'quick ask' email ... for all of the topic ideas for this newsletter! Keep them coming! You will see your suggestions being incorporated!

I have another question for you ... Have you ever noticed that what you say to yourself affects your physical, mental and emotional wellbeing?

In this drop, let's have an experience!

                  Best,
                  ~Kimberly x

                  should, need to, must

Think of a chore around the house, that is time consuming and not necessariy your favorite thing to do.

Now, imagine you have decided that this weekend is the weekend you are going to do that chore! Oh no!

I'll use 'cleaning all the windows in the house'. Please substitute your own chore, as you say these phrases out loud to yourself...

"I should {clean all the windows in the house} this weekend!"

"I need to {clean all the windows in the house} this weekend!"

"I must {clean all the windows in the house} this weekend!"

                  *How does your body feel?

*How has your posture responded to these statements?

*How have your emotions and thoughts responded?

Does 'should' bring up a little guilt?

Does 'need to' create pressure of urgency?

Does 'must' seem like a reprimand?

*Overall, what are you experiencing ... agitation, annoyance, resistance, tension ... what's your experience?

Alrighty! Now before you move on, shake that stuff off!

Seriously, stand up and shake your entire body! ... I'll wait!

                  02.

                  want to, can, get to

OK, now say these phrases out loud to yourself...

"I want to {clean all the windows in the house} this weekend!"

"I choose to {clean all the windows in the house} this weekend!"

"I get {clean all the windows in the house} this weekend!"

                  *How does your body feel?

How has your posture responded to these statements?

*How have your emotions and thoughts responded?

Does 'want to' bring up a little agreement to the task?

Does 'choose to' create a sense of empowerment?

Does 'get to' seem like a prize?

*Overall, are you experiencing a little bit of lightness, acceptance and maybe even a little bit of anticipation for the task?

                  Experiment with this ...

I know these tweaks will change your life!

But ... don't take my word for it! Convince yourself!

                  For a whole week ...

*eliminate 'should', 'have to', 'must' + 'need to' from your vocabulary.

*replace with 'want to', 'can', 'get to' + 'choose to'.

You will be surprised with the results!

And be sure to let me know your experience too!DO IT DIFFERENTL
