meditation/reflection/sitting quietly
Three ways to describe the same experience ... the experience of making the decision to disconnect from everything other than Yourself for a while.
And while you are meditating/reflecting/sitting quietly ...
* It doesn't matter if your mind is racing from one thought to another ... just take notice!
* It doesn't matter if you begin reflecting on things that are annoying to you ... just take notice!
* It doesn't matter if you've got an idea of what meditation IS, and the experience you are having IS NOT that ... just take notice!
It is great to be able to say "my mind was completely quiet during my meditation today!", and if that does not happen, that's great too!!!
The practice of just taking notice when things that are not planned come to your awareness while you are meditating is an invaluable skill to have when you are not meditating!
Read that again! 😁

reconnect you with your truth and inner power
You know yourself, right?
You are very aware of your values, and standards, and what you feel is in integrity for you, right?
How often during the day do you compromise your own values, do not say the things you want to say, do not do the thing you want to do, etc.?
I am sure, if you are like most of us, you have very good reasons for compromising! We all do!
Yet, how do you feel after you compromise yourself, and how do you treat yourself afterwards?
To reconnect you with your truth and inner power, try this ...
Practice ...
* Pull out a pen and a journal.
* Sit quietly.
* Ask yourself "What made me decide to compromise myself during that situation?"
* Ask yourself "How did I feel and how did I treat myself afterwards?"
* Ask yourself "How could I communicate my own truth + desires next time, in a way that will honor myself and not lead to me compromising myself, whilealso honoring all others involved?"
* And let your thoughts flow onto your paper.
* Write whatever comes to mind, whether one word or 1000 words!
* Don't filter your thoughts, just put your pen to paper!
You may be very surprised what comes up!
You may find solutions that you've never thought of!
The clarity you'll receive will be a gift to yourself!
Experiment with this ...
You will be surprised with the results!
